Ten lawyers will be promoted from associate to partner in McDermott Will and Emery’s Washington office effective January 1, 2013: Gale Chan, 35; James Commons, 31; Charles Hawkins, 37; Carla Hine, 34; James Kim, 35; Hosang Lee, 39; En-Jiun Enrica Ma, 33; Amandeep Sidhu, 34; Hillary Webber, 34; and Jennifer Westbrook, 33.

Chan focuses on U.S. and international tax. She received her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law and her LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center.

Commons focuses on white-collar criminal and security defense. He received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Hawkins focuses on intellectual property litigation. He received his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law.

Hine focuses on antitrust and competition. She received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.

Kim focuses on government strategies. He received his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

Lee focuses on intellectual property prosecution, transactions and strategy. He received his J.D. from Seton Hall University Law School.

Enrica focuses on U.S. and international tax. She received her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University Law School and her LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center.

Sidhu focuses on complex commercial disputes. He received his J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law.

Webber focuses on antitrust and competition. She received her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law.

Westbrook focuses on antitrust and competition. She received her J.D. from Columbia Law School.
