NEW ARRIVALS

Brown Rudnick (Boston): Tuvi Keinan joins the firm’s real estate and restructuring practice as partner in the London office and will focus on cross-border restructuring and finance experience. Previously, he was head of European real estate restructuring at Morgan Stanley.

Caplin & Drysdale (Washington): Elan Keller joins the firm’s three tax-related practice groups as partner in the New York office and will focus on tax due diligence and structuring with respect to mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and leasing transactions. Previously, Keller was managing director and tax director of Macquarie Holdings.

Dinsmore & Shohl (Cincinnati): James Kipling joins the firm’s intellectual property department as partner in the Cincinnati office and will focus on the licensing and merchandising of entertainment, celebrity and sports properties. Previously, Kipling was chief legal officer for the Kenner division of Hasbro Inc.
 

Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott (Pittsburgh): Laurence Rickles joins the firm’s intellectual property practice as partner in the White Plains, N.Y., office and will focus on trademark, copyright, domain name and social-media matters. Previously, Rickles was in-house trademark counsel at Johnson & Johnson.
 

Ropes & Gray (Boston): Mark Barnes rejoins the firm’s Boston office as partner in the health care practice and will focus on health care and higher education clients. Previously, Barnes served as senior associate provost for research and chief research compliance officer at Harvard University.

LATERALS

Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote (Pitts­burgh): Effie Alexander and John Demas join the firm as partners in the Pittsburgh office and will focus on domestic relations and family law. Previously, Alexander and Demas were partners at Reich, Alexander & Demas.

Freeborn & Peters (Chicago): Eugene Geekie joins the firm as partner and chairman of the bankruptcy litigation practice in the Chicago office, and as a member of two other practice groups. He will focus on representing lenders in complex bankruptcies and other clients in complex commercial litigation. Previously, Geekie was a partner at Schiff Hardin.

Jones Day: Ian Blumenstein joins the firm’s capital markets practice as partner in the New York office and will focus on advising both issuers and underwriters on high-yield debt financings, as well as advising corporate and investment banking clients on other equity and debt capital-markets transactions. Previously, Blumenstein was a partner at Cooley.

Paul Hastings: Neil Hamilton joins the firm’s finance and investment management practices as partner in the London office and will focus on securitizations and structured finance. Previously, he was a partner at Clifford Chance.

Sutherland Asbill & Brennan (Atlan­ta): Ronald Zdrojeski joins the firm’s litigation practice group as partner in the New York office and will focus on defending businesses in complex litigation, including toxic tort and intellectual property litigation. Previously, Zdrojeski was a partner at Robinson & Cole.
