Blank Rome: Two attorneys have joined the firm as associates in the Los Angeles office and members of the consumer finance litigation group and consumer financial services industry team. Christopher Donewald focuses on consumer financial services litigation, representing financial institutions in state and federal courts. Previously, he was an associate at AlvaradoSmith. He received his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2007.  Robert Merten III focuses on litigation, with a particular emphasis on consumer finance, complex business, entertainment and title insurance litigation. Previously, he was an associate at Early Sullivan Wright Gizer & McRae. He received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2008.


Schiff Hardin: Livya Heithaus has joined the firm’s construction group as an associate in the Chicago office. Heithaus focuses on representing owners, contractors, subcontractors and design professionals in the private and public sectors of the construction industry. Previously, she was an associate at Holland & Knight. She received her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law in 2006.
