Eisner, Kahan & Gorry (Beverly Hills, Calif.): Jordan Yospe joins the firm’s entertainment, media and the arts group as of counsel and will focus on entertainment law matters. Previously, Yospe was of counsel to Manatt, Phelps & Phillips.
Herrick, Feinstein (New York): Jeffrey Wasserman joins the firm’s litigation department as partner in the Newark, N.J., office and will focus on complex commercial litigation. Previously, Wasserman was a partner at Chadbourne & Parke.
Littler Mendelson (San Francisco): Guy Allen joins the firm as partner in the Melville, N.Y., office and will focus on employment matters, including complex employment litigation, trade secret and noncompetition litigation, class action avoidance and defense, and cases involving claims for wrongful termination, harassment and discrimination. Previously, Allen was a partner at Abbott, Reiss & Allen.
Manatt, Phelps & Phillips (Los Angeles): H.H. Sean Wee joins the firm’s corporate practice as partner in the New York office and will focus on public mergers and private acquisitions across a broad range of industries. Previously, Wee was a partner at Dewey & LeBoeuf.
McCarter & English (Newark, N.J.): Heidi Opinsky joins the firm’s private-clients practice as partner and will split her time between the firm’s Stamford, Conn., and New York offices. She will focus on family law, divorce, alimony, child support, domestic violence and property law issues. Previously, Opinsky was a partner at Fox Rothschild.
Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy (New York): Clive Ransome joins the firm’s global project-finance group as partner in the London office and will focus on advising on major project and structured financings. Previously, Ransome was a partner at Linklaters.
Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton (Los Angeles): Bruce Chapman joins the firm’s intellectual property practice group as partner in the Los Angeles office and will focus on patent litigation as well as trademark, copyright, trade secret, antitrust and other intellectual property-related litigation. Previously, Chapman was a partner at Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz.
Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom (New York): Graham Robinson joins the firm’s corporate practice as partner in the Boston office and will focus on mergers, acquisitions and other transactions in the health care and technology industries. Previously, Robinson was partner at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr.
Choate, Hall & Stewart (Boston): Gerald Quirk joins the firm as co-chairman of the firm’s life sciences group and will focus on advising clients on corporate matters, including research, development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products, as well as on corporate governance. Previously, Quirk was vice president of corporate affairs and general counsel at Infinity Pharmaceuticals Inc.
Cozen O’Connor (Philadelphia): Steve Auten joins the firm’s intellectual property group as partner in the Chicago office and will focus on representing generic pharmaceutical companies in abbreviated new drug application strategies, Hatch-Waxman litigation and biosimilar market opportunities. Previously, Auten was head of intellectual property for North America at Sandoz Inc., the generic pharmaceutical division of Novartis.
Dykema Gossett: Kimberly Kiplin joins the firm’s government policy practice group as senior counsel to the Austin, Texas, office and will focus on government procurement, insurance regulatory, oil and gas regulatory and gaming law. Previously, she was general counsel of the Texas Lottery Commission.
Mayer Brown: Nathan Dodd joins the firm’s global projects group as partner in the Singapore office and will focus on the development and finance side of projects in Asia and Africa. Previously, he was counsel to Linklaters.
