Bradley Arant Boult Cummings (Birmingham, Ala.): Jeffrey Anderson joins the firm’s Birmingham office as counsel and will focus on appellate litigation. Previously, he served as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Appellate Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Alabama.
Proskauer Rose (New York): Chantel Febus joins the firm’s litigation department as senior counsel to the New York office and will focus on complex criminal and commercial litigation. Previously, Febus was a prosecutor at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Criminal Division.
Steptoe & Johnson PLLC: Philip Vasquez joins the firm as of counsel and leader of the firm’s international oil and gas practice and will work from the Southpointe, Pa., and Houston offices. Previously, Vasquez was an independent legal consultant advising U.S. energy interests seeking energy development opportunities overseas.
Taylor English Duma (Atlanta): Amy Loggins joins the firm’s employment, labor and immigration practice group as counsel to the Atlanta office and will focus on employee relations and transitions. Previously, Loggins was corporate counsel at Crawford & Co., an insurance services company.
Dechert: Andrew Oringer joins the firm’s employee benefits and executive compensation group as partner in the New York office and will lead the firm’s fiduciary practice nationally. Previously, Oringer was a partner at Ropes & Gray.
DLA Piper: William Stute joins the firm’s litigation practice as partner in the Minneapolis office and will focus on complex financial disputes. Previously, Stute was a partner at Faegre Baker Daniels.
Dykema Gossett: John Dickey joins the firm’s corporate finance practice group as partner in the Dallas office and will focus on corporate mergers and acquisitions, securities and private equity. Previously, Dickey was a partner at Greenberg Traurig.
Jones Day: Scott Schwind joins the firm’s energy practice as partner in the Houston office and will focus on upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas transactions. Previously, Schwind was a partner at Thompson & Knight.
Kaufman Dolowich Voluck & Gonzo (Woodbury, N.Y): Tad Devlin joins the firm’s insurance coverage and monitoring and its business litigation practices as partner in the San Francisco office. Mayer Brown: Ann Knox joins the firm’s banking and finance practice as partner in the New York office and will focus on complex secured loans and financings on behalf of major financial institutions and nontraditional lenders. Previously, Knox was a partner at Haynes and Boone.
Seyfarth Shaw (Chicago): Scott Pearson joins the firm’s consumer financial services litigation practice as co-chairman in the Los Angeles office and will focus on class action litigation. Previously, Pearson was a partner at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan. Additionally, Michael Baniak joins the firm’s intellectual property practice group as partner in the Chicago office and will focus on intellectual property transactions, prosecution, counseling and litigation. Previously, Baniak was a partner at McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff.
