Blank Rome (Philadelphia): Three associates have joined the firm’s consumer finance litigation group.

In the Boca Raton, Fla., office, Renee Decker focuses her practice on consumer litigation, commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy and civil litigation. Previously, Decker was an associate at Tabas, Freedman, Soloff, Miller & Brown. She received her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2008. Jack Kallus focuses his practice on consumer finance litigation matters. Previously, Kallus served as an assistant state attorney at the Miami-Dade Office of the State Attorney. He received his J.D. from New York Law School in 2008.

In the Tampa, Fla., office, Kirby McDonough focuses his practice on consumer finance litigation. Previously, McDonough was an assistant state attorney at the Florida State Attorney’s Office, 5th Judicial Circuit. He received his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2009. 

PROMOTIONS TO PARTNER

Debevoise & Plimpton (New York): Michael Diz and Andrew Levine have been promoted to partners at the firm. Diz is a member of the firm’s corporate department. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions on behalf of corporate and private equity clients, as well as on corporate and securities matters. Diz received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2004. Levine is a member of the firm’s litigation department. He focuses his practice on white-collar criminal defense and internal investigations, including matters involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and complex civil litigation. Previously, Levine was deputy counsel to the Independent Inquiry Committee into the United Nations Oil-for Food Programme. He received his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2002.
