Roger Fairfax, 40, has been promoted to full professor at George Washington University Law School. His scholarship focuses on criminal procedure, white-collar investigations, the grand jury and criminal justice policy. Prior to joining the law faculty, Fairfax served as a prosecutor at the U.S. Department of Justice. He earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Michael Maricco, 37, has joined Groom Law Group in Washington as of counsel. His practice focuses on employee-benefits matters. Previously, he was an attorney in the Office of Chief Counsel at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp. Maricco earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
