Saffitz will focus her practice on commercial dispute resolution, with an emphasis on derivative and class actions. Previously, she was an associate at Dewey & LeBoeuf. She received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2006.
Lathrop & Gage (Kansas City, Mo.): Anna McNew joins the firm’s corporate department as an associate in the Denver office. McNew will focus her practice in the areas of oil and gas exploration, concentrating on the preparation and drafting of drilling and division order title opinions. Previously, she was a petroleum land manager for Dugan Production Corp. She received her J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2005.
Seyfarth Shaw (Chicago): Tara Conroy joins the firm’s labor and employment department as an associate. Conroy will focus her practice on representing and counseling employers on employment law, including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. Previously, Conroy was an associate at Sidley Austin. She received her J.D. from Cornell Law School in 2008.
