Much Shelist (Chicago): Phillippe Holland joins the firm’s business and finance practice group as an associate. Holland will focus his practice on the representation of public and private companies, private equity firms and their portfolio companies on corporate matters. Previously, he was an associate at Jones Day. Holland received his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 2009. Additionally, Michael Minea joins the firm’s intellectual property and technology practice group as an associate. Minea will focus his practice on representing companies in the banking and finance, consumer products, food and beverage, chemical and other industries. Previously, he was an associate at Mayer Brown. Minea received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 2009.

Weingarten Brown (Los Angeles): Eric Bakewell joins the firm as an associate. Bakewell will focus his practice on litigating financial fraud, intellectual property, securities, social media, contract and other complex corporate actions. Previously, he was an associate at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan. Bakewell received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2002.
