The National Law Journal‘s VerdictSearch affiliate compiled the list of the Top 100 Verdicts of 2010 upon which the stories in this section are based. The list includes outcomes reported by attorneys to VerdictSearch, found on court dockets or reported by other ALM Media LLC publications. As usual, intellectual property disputes led the pack this year with 11 verdicts, including one worth $1.3 billion, adding up to a cool $2.4 billion. Products liability disputes generated the largest number of verdicts — 23, worth more than $1.8 billion.
