BOSTON — Five former Heller Ehrman lawyers, including several with practice leadership experience, joined Boston-based Goodwin Procter ‘s New York and Menlo Park, Calif., offices.

Stephen M. Davis, Kevin T. Collins and Wesley C. Fredericks Jr. joined in New York as partners in Goodwin Procter’s business law department and members of its technology companies group. Fredericks is also a member of Goodwin Procter’s life sciences practice.

At Heller Ehrman, Davis was co-chairman of the firm’s corporate/venture capital law group and a former chair of its New York business law practice, Collins was co-chairman of the life sciences practice and Fredericks was chairman of Heller Ehrman’s New York business law practice.

In Menlo Park, past Heller Ehrman chairman Julian N. Stern joined Goodwin Procter as of counsel to the business department and a member of the technology companies group. Steven R. Feldstein is now a partner in Goodwin Procter’s litigation department and a member of the firm’s labor and employment practice. He was formerly co-chairman of Heller’s labor employment practice group nationwide.

Goodwin’s chairman and managing partner Regina M. Pisa said in a statement that the firm is “extremely pleased to welcome these very talented and experienced attorneys.”
