The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday agreed to hear Starbucks’ appeal of a court order to reinstate seven fired baristas who had been engaged in a campaign to unionize their coffee shop in Memphis, Tennessee.

The high court granted Starbucks’ petition for review which argues that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit applied the wrong standard in upholding a temporary injunction against the national coffee chain over alleged labor law violations.
