Law firms in Washington, D.C., raked in millions of dollars in lobbying revenue in 2023, with some firms appearing on track to surpass their previous year’s earnings, buoyed by the activity surrounding the debt limit and end-of-year legislation, among other big agenda items in Congress.

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, last year’s top earner, led the pack again in lobbying revenue for the first three quarters of this year, according to Lobbying Disclosure Act filings.
