The Senate on Monday confirmed federal public defender Richard Federico to a seat on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit that has been vacant for more than two years.
Federico, a senior litigator in the federal public defender’s office in Kansas, was confirmed in bipartisan 61-29 vote.
