The U.S. Senate on Monday confirmed former O’Melveny & Myers partner Bradley Garcia to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, widely considered the second most important court in the country.
Garcia was confirmed on a 53-40 vote. He will be the first Latino judge to sit on the D.C.-based federal appeals court.
