As evolving regulations are expected to increase demand among financial services practices, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom has added another government attorney to its roster.

Alessio Evangelista, most recently head of enforcement and compliance at the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), joined the firm Monday as a litigation partner in Washington, D.C., where he will advise financial services clients on investigations, enforcement and compliance matters.
