Former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and a handful of former FBI agents on Thursday asked a federal judge to boot them from a sprawling conspiracy civil suit filed by former President Donald Trump.

Clinton’s motion to dismiss, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, suggests a number of reasons to throw out Trump’s claims that she led a conspiracy to link him to Russia ahead of the 2016 election, an election he won. Among the top reasons for dismissal presented to Judge Donald M. Middlebrooks is the timeliness of the lawsuit.
