Baker & Hostetler partner Steven Dettelbach was confirmed on Tuesday to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
The U.S. Senate confirmed Dettelbach to the post on a nearly party line 48-46 vote. He will be the first permanent head of the ATF since 2015.
