Despite the protracted investigations of the House Select Committee, Attorney General Merrick Garland, and the vast gaggle of network pundits into the offenses of former President Donald Trump as well as his sidekicks surrounding the Jan. 6 insurrection, a plethora of readily provable charges have somehow remained hidden in plain view.

They are not the stirring charges, like treason, sedition, or advocating the overthrow of the government, for which the cable news talking heads have—depending on their bias—either convicted or acquitted Trump and friends. And they are far less vague than the charges—including conspiracy to defraud the U.S. and dereliction of duty—that the House committee has encouraged the Department of Justice to file.
