The first parent to appeal his jury conviction in a nationwide college admissions scandal has hired Jones Day’s Noel Francisco to represent him.
John Wilson, a private equity firm founder convicted last October of bribery and fraud, filed his opening brief Monday in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, asking the court to either overturn his convictions or order a new trial.
