The U.S. Senate confirmed another new federal district judge for Georgia Thursday, voting 52-48 to approve President Joe Biden’s nomination of Southern Center for Human Rights Senior Counsel Sarah Geraghty to the Northern District of Georgia.

The yeas and nays fell along party lines—with the same exceptions as with the vote last week to approve the nomination of federal public defender Victoria Marie Calvert for the Northern District of Georgia. Republican Sens. Susan Collins of Maine and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina broke with GOP colleagues in their party and voted to confirm Geraghty.
