Three pharmacies that were found liable for an opioid crisis that ravaged two Ohio counties insist the verdict should be vacated, in part due to juror misconduct and the judge’s decision to eliminate jurors who weren’t vaccinated against COVID-19.

Walgreens, Walmart and CVS argued in a flurry of motions filed on Tuesday that a “trial plagued with errors” led to the Nov. 23 verdict against them in the first jury trial involving the opioid crisis.
