In the latest move in a discovery dispute that threatens to throw New York’s multidefendant opioid trial off the rails, Suffolk County Supreme Court Justice Jerry Garguilo revised the order to show cause to include a second law firm that has represented the drug company Endo Pharmaceuticals.

Redgrave LLP, an 11-year-old firm headquartered in the Washington, D.C., area, has now been ordered to appear alongside Endo and Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer to explain why they should not be held in civil contempt, among other potential sanctions, according to the order. The hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday.
