President Joe Biden’s latest slate of nominations includes a Picard, Kentz & Rowe partner for a top spot in the Department of Commerce and a House committee general counsel to serve on the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Biden on Tuesday chose Rich Trumka Jr., the son of a prominent labor leader, as a commissioner for the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the federal agency responsible for issuing recalls and developing safety standards for consumer products ranging from children’s toys to household chemicals.
