The Brooklyn Supreme Court justice’s son photographed inside the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6 insurrection will have one of his charges reduced to a misdemeanor, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia confirmed during a status conference Friday morning.

Aaron Mostofsky, son of Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Steven Mostofsky, was photographed inside the Capitol decked out in furs and a bulletproof vest marked “police” while carrying a shield emblazoned with “United States Capitol Police.”
