Latham & Watkins’ ties to the Biden administration continue to swell with Wednesday’s nomination of Washington, D.C., partner Tommy Beaudreau, an Obama administration veteran, to serve as deputy secretary of the Interior Department.

Beaudreau previously served as former chief of staff for the U.S. Department of the Interior under Secretary Sally Jewell before joining Latham in 2017. If confirmed, he’ll be one of no fewer than eight one-time Latham attorneys working in executive branch agencies.
