President Joe Biden has nominated Anne Milgram, a former New Jersey attorney general, to lead the Drug Enforcement Administration, the White House announced Monday.

Milgram served as attorney general from 2007-2010, building a reputation for fighting crime in the city of Camden, and also worked as an assistant district attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and as a federal prosecutor in the Department of Justice.
