The criminal allegations against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton seem to have done little to stem his work, particularly in leading the fledgling fights against the Biden administration, as a lawsuit from several of the whistleblowers pushes forward in state court.

The lawsuit from four former members of the Texas Attorney General’s Office, alleging they were illegally fired after reporting their claims against Paxton to law enforcement, has moved closer to discovery in the months since it was filed in Texas court last year.
