President Joe Biden, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, the commissioner of Major League Baseball and many others have voiced their opinions about Georgia’s new voting law. But Atlanta’s large law firms have little to say on the topic.

We contacted 11 firms Monday morning with this query. By our deadline of 6 p.m., we had received responses only from King & Spalding, Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders and Kilpatrick, Townsend & Stockton. Each affirmed their firm’s support for voting rights. Two said they opposed efforts to restrict voting rights. None expressly mentioned Georgia’s Senate Bill 202.
