Former Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe partner Alex Okuliar, who took a top role in the U.S. Justice Department’s antitrust division last January, is returning to private practice at Morrison & Foerster, where he will share leadership of the firm’s antitrust group.

Okuliar’s hire in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office comes as a growing number of firms are looking to strengthen their antitrust capabilities in anticipation of a tougher enforcement posture from the Biden administration.
