A federal judge in Washington, D.C., said Tuesday that he will order daily hearings to ensure the U.S. Postal Service is complying with his prior injunctions against changes at the agency that could impact mail-in ballots for next week’s election.

U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan of the District of Columbia said the federal government should file data on mail deliveries by 10 a.m. every day through the election, and parties will then meet at 3 p.m. to discuss those reports and address any issues.
