As the Senate begins hearings on Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday, legal fights over Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s papers are still playing out in federal court.

Senate Democrats have blasted the swift pace of Barrett’s confirmation process, alleging the timing has not provided lawmakers and the public with enough time to review her record. Wade, she filed a supplement with the Senate on Oct. 9 revealing more of her public associations on the topic.
