President Donald Trump on Wednesday unveiled his latest list of potential nominees to the U.S. Supreme Court as he seeks to fend off Vice President Joe Biden in the presidential election and maintain conservative control over the federal judiciary.

The president announced 20 additional names to a previous list of potential nominees, last updated in November 2017. Many of the nominees, like Judge James Ho of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and Judge Gregory Katsas of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, are judges that Trump himself has previously appointed to the bench.
