A federal judge on Saturday denied former pharmaceutical executive Martin Shkreli’s motion for release from prison, finding that he is at no particular health risk from COVID-19 in a facility that has yet to report any COVID-19 cases.
U.S. District Judge Kiyo Matsumoto also rejected Shkreli’s argument that he should be released in order to find a cure for COVID-19.
