A New York appellate court rejected a suit filed by the West 58th Coalition group opposing the creation of a men’s homeless shelter at a Manhattan hotel. The group said that the hotel was not a safe building in which to house the shelter and that the shelter would increase crime and loitering in the area, which encompasses several luxury developments. Rivkin Radler represented the West 58th Coalition in the suit, according to Gothamist.
Davis Graham & Stubbs represented oil and gas company Atlantic Richfield Co. in a suit filed by mining company Asarco LLC in the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana.
