Contrary to law firms’ worst fears during the onset of the pandemic a year ago, demand for legal services generally stayed high, and remains so today.

But the economic impact felt by many clients has led midsize firms to change their thinking, and sometimes their practice, when it comes to rate increases, their leaders says.
