As Dylan Jackson recently reported for Law.com, with 2020 an unexpected financial success for many firms and an economic upswing on the horizon, associates who spent the past 12 months feeling like large firm life is no longer for them are now in a position to do something about it.

“People are rethinking their priorities,” McGuireWoods managing partner Tracy Walker told Jackson. “There’s probably a lot of built-up angst. Once that pressure is relieved with a light at the end of the tunnel, as we get into the middle of [2021], I think a lot of associates will think, ‘What should I do for my career?’”
