Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt is advising the Arch Cape Domestic Water Supply District in Oregon pro bono in its acquisition of land for the creation of a community forest and protected watershed. According to the Cannon Beach Gazette, the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service invested $2.5 million in the project, which aims to provide safe drinking water to the area. Arch Cape Water District is proposing to purchase about 1,457 acres of land with the investment.

Bellevue Properties, the owner of the North Conway Grand Hotel in New Hampshire, is seeking to reverse the May 2020 dismissal of a suit over the construction of a grocery shore. The suit would be the third filed by the hotel in its attempt to stop the store’s construction, the first two of which the plaintiff lost. According to The Conway Daily SunBernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson is representing Bellevue in the matter.
