The need for change. It’s something many have said about the legal industry for years, but especially for a lot of mid-market firms, particularly larger (for midsize) regional firms. But what happens when a firm embraces change and takes bold steps? Is it a huge success? Or a big failure?

In looking at one recent example, the answer isn’t obvious. If anything, it’s probably neither. But that shows just how challenging it can be for firms to change.
