Former Powers, Jodoin, Margolis & Mantell partner Beth Myers joined Burns & Levinson as a partner in the firm’s business litigation and dispute resolution group. According to an announcement from Burns & Levinson, Myers handles cases involving discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour disputes and noncompliance with the Family Medical Leave Act. She is based in Boston.

Nexsen Pruet announced that it is expanding into Texas with the addition of a location in Austin, the firm’s first foray outside of the Carolinas. The new office will be headed by Agribusiness industry attorney Matt Ormiston.
