Detroit-based Susan Benington left her position at General Motors to take on the position of counsel at Varnum, according to a press release. At GM, Benington served as global data privacy counsel, and at Varnum she will handle matters related to data privacy and connectivity as part of the firm’s data privacy and cybersecurity practice.

Goulston & Storrs announced that it brought on Rhian Cull to serve as director of the firm’s real estate group. Cull handles complex procurement matters for clients in the hospitality, financial, development, energy, water and transportation industries. According to LinkedIn, she previously worked at Hinckley, Allen & Snyder. Cull is based in Boston.
