Bethesda, Maryland-based Offit Kurman announced that it is growing its attorney head count by 27. The firm brought on the lawyers and staff of Horack Talley in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Horack Talley team will remain in its original office and will continue to offer legal services in matters related to community associations, business and corporate, family law, litigation, real estate and personal wealth services.

Former Oklahoma Tax Commission executive director Tony Mastin joined McAfee & Taft‘s tax and family wealth group, according to a press release. Mastin advises businesses and individuals on planning matters involving state and local taxation. He will serve as of counsel in the firm’s Oklahoma City office after his retirement from the tax commission, where he worked in various positions for 35 years.
