The original lawsuit, which alleged various acts of negligence, included Artist Group International LLCY Entertainment Group LLC and Billy Joel as defendants, although an amended complaint no longer included Joel on that list. Nashua, New Hampshire, city officials are looking into claims that the city’s only certified supervisor in its assessing office was slacking off during work hours. The city, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader, asked Drummond Woodsum attorney Mark Broth to look into the complaint after a city resident hired a private investigator to conduct surveillance on the city assessor. The private investigation allegedly revealed that the assessor had been napping and driving around aimlessly while he was supposed to be working.
