Ed Sheeran is facing a copyright case about his song “Thinking Out Loud.” Courthouse News Service reports that the family of Ed Townsend, who co-wrote the song “Let’s Get it On” with Marvin Gaye, claims that Sheeran’s song was appropriated from the ’70s classic. Representing Sheeran in the case is New York City-based Pryor Cashman attorneys Donald Zakarin and Ilene Farkas.
