Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP in Charlotte, N.C., announced Feb. 5 the addition of Amy Allen Hinson as a partner in the firm’s Greenville, S.C., office, as the firm looks to expand its patent prosecution practice. Hinson prosecutes patent applications in the U.S. and helps clients secure patent rights around the world. She also assists clients with the preparation and prosecution of trademark and copyright applications and is experienced in IP litigation and contract negotiation. 

Archer & Greiner, P.C., in Haddonfield, New Jersey, announced Feb. 5 that it acquired New York-based boutique firm DiConza Traurig Kadish LLP, growing  Archer & Greiner’s bankruptcy, restructuring and insolvency litigation group. DiConza Traurig, with offices in midtown Manhattan, specializes in corporate restructuring and bankruptcy litigation, business law, general commercial litigation, and asset sales and purchases in bankruptcy. Gerard DiConza will continue as managing partner of the New York office. He is joined by partners Jeffrey M. Traurig and Allen G. Kadish, of counsel Richard K. Milin, associates Lance A. Schildkraut and Harrison H.D. Breakstone and law clerk Bryant P. Churbuck. The team will continue to be based in its New York office, located at 630 Third Avenue.
