Amid the ups and downs of individual firm returns in a topsy-turvy year, certain trendlines are starting to emerge. My colleague Andrew Maloney, for one, noted last week that several firms are reporting the amount of revenue they’re getting from fixed fee arrangements and contingency assignments ticked up significantly in 2022.
