Welcome to the latest edition of the Lit Daily’s In-House Litigation Leaders series where we focus on lawyers making the hiring decisions, shaping the strategies and managing the caseloads at some of the nation’s largest and most innovative companies.

Meet David Saunders, the director of litigation at Juniper Networks, a multinational computer networking company based in Sunnyvale, California. Prior to joining Juniper, Saunders worked in-house on litigation and patent licensing issues with Immersion Corporation, a developer and licensor of the sorts of touch feedback technology that you feel when you punch certain buttons on your cell phone or trigger a rumble in a video game controller. Prior to moving in-house, Saunders was a litigator in private practice at Dechert, Kaye Scholer and the patent litigation boutique Fisch Sigler. The following has been edited for length and clarity.
