Cooley has brought on board longtime Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher securities litigator Aric Wu as a partner in New York, as the firm anticipates growing demand in litigation as a consequence of both the SPAC boom and the emergence of increasingly complex matters.

Wu, who specializes in representing issuers, banks and accounting firms in securities class actions, has spent his entire career at Gibson Dunn since graduating from Columbia Law School in 1998.
