Listening to Reed Smith trial lawyer Ricky Raven describe his feelings about trying a case virtually, it would be easy to forget that he was on the winning side of a 55-day Zoom jury trial earlier this year in Alameda County Superior Court in California.

“I can tell you of the 55 days we had on the record at least 50 of them there was an issue of juror attentiveness,” said Raven speaking Tuesday on a panel as part of a four-day virtual disputes conference his firm is hosting that runs through Thursday.
