Attorneys from Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and Riley Safer Holmes Cancila are teaming up to defend McDonald’s from a federal lawsuit alleging the corporation discriminated against Black franchise owners.

Paul Weiss partners Loretta Lynch, the former attorney general, and Susanna Buergel, co-chair of the firm’s securities litigation and enforcement group, both filed notices of appearance in the case Thursday. They’re joined by Riley Safer managing partner Patricia Brown Holmes and of counsel Amy Andrews.
